has been used by a patient with infectious disease, the cleaning and disinfection of
the bed must be done in accordance with valid and agreed hospital rules and
implemented procedures. To reduce the risk of infection transmission, the pre-treated
protective covering drapes and/or covering fabrics must be used, to avoid the contact
of the skin of a woman in labour with the upholstery of the components of the delivery
bed - seat, back, foot part and footrests.

9.1.1 Cleaning the bed

1. Supporting area including the head pillow starting from the head section toward
the lower section;
2. Hangers and hand grips;
3. Side protections with integrated controls and hand switch;
4. Frame of the bed including integrated controls and rear panel;
5. Foot section and footrests as well as adjoining plastic elements;
6. Bottom side of the upholstery (lift up the upholstery);
7. Bed frame / supporting structure - completely from the head rest part to the sitting
part;
8. Lift the chassis to the highest position, pull out the mains plug - remove the
protective parts (right and left) and put them back in the original position after
cleaning;
9. Lift the left chassis plastic cover and clean dirty areas.
