8.1

Daily Inspections

Check the items below daily while the controller is in operation
 To keep the system normal and prevent unwanted troubles, perform daily and periodic
Check the LEDs on the
power module's and the
controller module's front
panels
Check the LED display of
the TC-net I/O unit's input
module (digital input)
Check the LED display of
the TC-net I/O unit's
output module (digital
output)
Check the switch
position of the controller
module

If you find smoke or catch an unusual odor, power
CAUTION
off the controller.
Fire or explosion may result.
Remark

Table 8-1 Daily inspections
Item
POWER (green): On when 5 V power is
normal.
RUN (green): Off during normal
operation.
ERR (red): Off when CPU is normal.
BAT (green): On when battery voltage is
normal.
When the external input signal is ON,
the corresponding LED must light up.
When the output is ON, the
corresponding LED must remain lit up
and the corresponding external load
must operate.
Operation mode switch
HALT/RUN/P-RUN and dip switches.
(When the operation mode switch is
RUN, the controller must begin to
operate.)
