3. From the Edit dialog box, click the Communication tab.

The following dialog box appears.

4. Change the Address field, which is populated automatically with the static IP address 198.168.1.2, by

typing your correct IP address into the Address field.

5. Validate and save the settings.

6. From the Application Dashboard dialog box, click Run to run the PVc Simple Motion Control

application.

Understanding the Network Overview Screen Functionality

Since you have already verified that communication

between the MicroLogix 1400 controller and the

Ultra1500 drive is working, each axis in your application

(1-axis, 2-axis, or 3-axis depending on your

configuration) should display as being 'Disabled' on the

Network Overview screen once the PVc application is

running.

Disabled indicates that the drive is responding when the

MicroLogix 1400 controller attempts to communicate

with it via discrete I/O and indicates that the drive is

not enabled but is ready and not faulted.
