With the help of a guide wire, the Automower
hand, there is a risk of the mower not finding its way out of the area if it does not find the guide wire and
start to follow it before the delay time for the boundary wire has elapsed. From Area 2 the Automower
normally find the charging station by using the Irregular search method. With an increased corridor width
for the boundary wire the mower, when searching, will run past several passages instead of running
through them, which is an advantage in Area 2.
