MAKING JUICE WITH THE FILTER BASKET OR THE SMOOTHIE DISC
Step 1:
Wash selection of fruit and vegetables to be juiced and remove if necessary the peel
(oranges, citrus fruit), stems and stones (nectarines, peaches, plums) and all inedible
elements.
Note:
Most fruit and vegetables such as apples, carrots and cucumber will not need to be cut
or trimmed to size as these will fit whole into the feed chute. Ensure vegetables such as
beetroot, carrots, etc. have all soil removed, are well washed and trimmed of leaves
before juicing. When juicing carrots place the tip of the carrot into the feed chute last.
Step 2:
Ensure the Juicer is correctly assembled and that there are no foreign objects in the feed
chute before putting the plug into the power point. Ensure the stainless steel filter is tho-
roughly cleaned before each use (refer to ´Care and cleaning`). Ensure you place the
juice jug with lid fitted (or glass) under spout before commencing juicing.
WARNING:
Do not put hard fruit and vegetables (i.e. carrots, apples, fresh bee-
troot, etc.) or ice through juicer when using the Smoothie Attachment. This could damage
