and unplug.
9. Clean the appliance and all parts immediately after usage (see: 'Care and Clea-
ning') to avoid accumulation of dried-on food, and any blockage of the micro-mesh
of the filter basket.
IMPORTANT:
Some food may cause discolouration of plastic parts. Thus it is good
advice to rinse all plastic parts (juicer cover, pulp container, juice jug and juice jug
lid) immediately after use. However, do NOT spill any liquids onto the motor
base or power cord.

EMPTYING JUICE JUG AND PULP CONTAINER

Before filling in the next portion of food, always ensure that the juice jug and pulp
container can take another portion of pulp and juice. If not, empty the juice jug and
pulp container in time. It is essential, that the pulp can fall unhindered into the pulp
container and may not clog the pulp outlet.
1. First, switch OFF the appliance (pressing the START/STOP button).
2. Take out the juice jug and pour the juice into another container. Thereafter place
the juice jug back under the juice spout.
3. Take the pulp container out from under the pulp outlet by tilting the pulp container
slightly to the motor base. Empty the pulp container. Perhaps, you should line the
pulp container with another plastic freezer bag to minimize cleaning effort.
4. Thereafter insert the pulp container back into position under the juicer cover by
tilting the pulp container slightly to the motor base (see: 'Assembling the Appliance').
Thereafter the appliance is ready for juicing another portion of food.
Note:
You will find some recipes for using the pulp at the end of this booklet.
