TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

Tires - Wheels - Suspension

Most tire, wheel, and suspension related problems are
due to excessive loads, extreme conditions, and
improper maintenance. Tire, wheel, and suspension
problems can be easily detected and solved by checking
the following guide. For maintenance procedures, refer to
the following sections:

Inflate to proper pressure (See "Tire

Replace tires.
Replace or tighten.
Remount (See "Mounting Tire and
Wheel (Hub Type)" on page 4-30.)
Clean wheels.
Balance tires.
Locate cause and repair.
Remove object(s).
Deflate to correct inflation (See "Tire

Increase inflation to correct PSI. Check
axle alignment (See "Tire Inflation"

Loads are above rated tire capacity. DO
NOT load above rated tire capacity.
Straighten or replace axle (See "Axle

Check axle alignment.
Check tire load rating.
Adjust speed according to road and load
conditions.

Adjust braking practices.
