External Calibration/Adjustment* with a
User-Defined Calibration Weight

Define the Calibration Weight
Step
1. Select Setup menu
2. Select "Balance/scale functions"
3. Select "Calibration/adjustment"
4. Select parameter for external
weight
5. Select "Cal./adj. wt."
6. Enter calibration weight
(e.g., 5000 g)
and save
7. Save the calibration weight
8. Exit the Setup menu

You can define a weight for calibration/
adjustment. External calibration/adjust-
ment must be performed with weights that
are traceable to a national standard and
that have error limits which are at least 1/3
of the required tolerance of the display
accuracy.
See page 44 for the external calibration/
adjustment sequence. For this example,
select external calibration/adjustment with
a user-defined weight.

To reset a user-defined calibration
weight to the original factory setting:
