Procedure
Step 1 Remove the top cover from the power unit, and remove the bracket of the battery grounding
failure detector.

Step 2 Mount the battery grounding failure detector onto the bracket and reinstall the bracket in the
cabinet.

Step 3 Remove the front panel from the SPD in the bypass unit.
Step 4 Connect cables.

Issue 04 (2020-03-03)
If the power units do not share battery strings, you need to install battery grounding
failure detectors in both power units.
Connect the power cables of the battery grounding failure detector to copper bars U and
N on the top of each power unit cabinet.
