Figure 3-12 Recommended channel steel dimensions (unit: mm)
Procedure
Step 1 Determine the cabinet installation positions on the channel steel based on holes in the
marking-off template for channel steel installation.
Step 2 Drill mounting holes on the channel steels using a hammer drill.
Step 3 Remove the left and right side panels from the input and output unit.
Step 4 Combine the power units, bypass unit and input/output units, and install the connecting plates
in the following sequence: bottom, top, and middle.
Step 5 Install the side panels removed from the input and output unit to power unit 1 and power unit

Step 6 Use M12x60 common bolts to secure the power units, bypass unit, and input/output unit to
the channel steel in sequence.
Step 7 Install anchor baffle plates.

Huawei does not provide channel steel or expansion bolts used for securing channel steel.
Ensure that the surface of channel steels is smooth.
