When Opt im ized is select ed, t he radio scans for all act ive channels and
available DFS channels, and creat es a list of up t o t hree det ect ed DFS
channels. I n subsequent scans, t he radio will scan t he DFS channels
list ed from t he first scan.

DFS channel.

When t he DFS Scan Tim e is changed t o a value lower t han default , it is
recom m ended t hat t he beacon period in t he WLAN infrast ruct ure is
changed as well. I deally, t he dwell t im e should be 1.5 t im es t han t hat of
t he beacon period.
The channel t o be used for an ad hoc connect ion if t he act ive profile has a
Radio Mode v alue of " Ad Hoc" .

enabled unless t here is significant co- channel int erference because of
overlapping coverage from APs t hat are on t he sam e channel.
