DIRECT CHARGING USING CRADLE
Direct cradle charging m akes use of a Charging & Com m unicat ion Cradle ( hereinaft er
" cradle" ) . The cradle is one of t he accessories you can opt for.
Prior t o charging, inst all m ain bat t ery as described in
st eps below:
1) Seat t he m obile com put er int o t he cradle.
2) Connect t he cradle t o an ext ernal power source using t he power adapt er.
To out put dat a t o your PC or lapt op, connect t he m obile com put er and your PC wit h a
m icroUSB cable. See

REPLACE MAIN BATTERY PACK
The Cradle holds a separat e charging com part m ent for t he m ain bat t ery pack. This allows
t he m obile com put er and a separat e m ain bat t ery pack t o be charged eit her individually or
sim ult aneously. We advise you t o keep a fully charged bat t ery at hand at all t im es using t he
Cradle.
I f t he m ain bat t ery level is running low and you decide t o replace it wit h a fully charged one,
follow t he procedure denot ed in
Not e: I f t he process for swapping bat t eries is not followed, you m ight need t o power on t he
m obile com put er aft er insert ing t he m ain bat t ery. I n t his case, all unsaved dat a will be lost .
