SELECT TEXT
When you see som e t ext on a page you want t o copy, select it first . Select ing t ext s varies
from applicat ion t o applicat ion. But prim arily it requires you t o Tap and hold som ewhere on
t he t ext t o open a cont ext m enu or open t he applicat ions' opt ion m enu which provide
com m ands t o select a t ext .
To select a t ext :
1) Tap and hold som ewhere on t he t ext .
A cont ext m enu com es up.
2) Tap t he com m and t hat m akes select ion.
3) Select t he desired t ext .
I t relies on defining t he st art and end t o m ake select ion of a t ext . Som e applicat ions
support t apping and dragging along t he t ext t o select it while ot hers require you t o m ark
t he st art and end of t he desired t ext wit h t he onscreen facilit y feat ured by t he
applicat ion.
CUT OR COPY TEXT
Aft er a t ext is select ed, syst em t hen present s Copy/ Cut com m ands on
cont ext m enu shows up feat uring Copy/ Cut com m ands. Tap t hem t o copy/ cut t he select ed
t ext .
PASTE TEXT
Wit hin t he OS, t ext s can be copied t o and from different applicat ions.
To past e a t ext :
1) Tap and hold t he t ext field where you want t o past e t he t ext .
Cont ext m enu opens.
2) Tap t he " Past e" com m and from t he cont ext m enu.
The copied/ cut t ext is past ed.
