MONITOR OPENED APPLICATIONS
Upon launch, Task Manager shows a list of all opened applicat ions which are under m onit or:

Close an applicat ion when it isn't used, or when it is m isbehaving. Check for any
m isbehaving applicat ions by looking up it s usage of m em ory and CPU.
I n t he OS, how t o close an applicat ion varies. Som e applicat ions have inherent facilit ies t o
close t hem selves such as a GUI but t on or a m enu com m and while ot hers don't . When it is
t he lat t er case, Task Manager closes t hem for you.
To close an applicat ion by Task Manager:
1) Launch Task Manager as described in
Task Manager opens m onit oring opened applicat ions.
2) Tap and hold t he applicat ion t o close. From t he cont ext m enu t hat com es up, t ap En d
Ta sk .
OR
Tap t he applicat ion t o close. The applicat ion is t hen highlight ed onscreen. Tap t he " End
Task" com m and on t he soft key bar.
