I nput on local m achine – Passes decoded dat a locally t o t he
act ive applicat ion on t he m obile com put er. Sim ply run an
applicat ion such as Wordpad t o collect decoded dat a.
I nput on rem ot e PC – Passes decoded dat a t o t he act ive
applicat ion on t he rem ot e com put er connect ed. Set up a
rem ot e PC connect ion t o collect dat a. ( Not e t his opt ion is
unable t o pass double- byt e charact er s such as Big- 5 or
Unicode charact ers.)
