CREATE NEW FOLDERS
To creat e a new folder on t he m obile com put er:
1) Connect t wo com put ers as described in

On t he PC, from Act iveSync m enu bar, select Tools | Ex plor e Pock e t PC, or from it s
t oolbar, press Ex plor e
The m obile com put er's int ernal st orage root direct ory " M obile D e vice " opens
present ing a few folders ( and som e files) .
3) Browse where you want t o creat e a folder.
4) Right - click any vacant spot t here.

A new folder is creat ed.
BACKUP DATA
To best prot ect your work, back up regularly t he dat a on your m obile com put er. Manually
back up using Act iveSync by eit her " Synchronizat ion Relat ionship" or " Tem porary
Relat ionship" wit h sim ple copy & past e t o back up files t o your PC.
USB PASS-THROUGH NETWORKING
Act iveSync support s " Pass- Through Net working" whereby t he m obile com put er net works
using your PC's dat a connect ion.
For securit y, disable t he net work bridging on t he PC, especially t he bridging t o a Rem ot e
NDI S adapt er. For m ore inform at ion on net work bridging, see Windows Help on t he PC.
Aft er sync part nership is up bet ween t he m obile com put er and your PC:
1) On your PC, from t he m enu bar of Act iveSync, select File | Con ne ct ion Se t t ings.
[ Connect ion Set t ings] window opens.

when passing t hrough Act iveSync. Opt ions are:
