AUTO PROFILE & LIST
When Aut o Profile is act ivat ed, t he Sum m it radio will at t em pt t o associat e t o an access point
aft er a device st art up or resum e, and it will t ry out each profile in order unt il t he radio
associat es t o an access point . The successful profile becom es t he act ive profile and rem ains
act ive unt il one of t he following occurs:
The device goes t hrough suspension and resum e, power- cycling, or rest art , which
causes t he radio t o go t hrough t he aut om at ic profile select ion process once m ore.
Aut o Profile is t urned off and an act ive profile is m anually select ed on t he SCU Main
window.
The aut om at ic profile select ion facilit y m akes use of a list of profiles you creat ed. When enabling t his
funct ion for t he first t im e, t ap List t o select t he profiles in use. Aft er t he list is defined, as long as t he
facilit y is act ive and t he radio is not associat ed t o an access point , SCU will run t hrough t he list and t ry
out each pr ofile one by one unt il t he radio associat es t o an access point . The profile becom es t he
Act ive Profile and rem ains so unt il t he radio disassociat es or disconnect s from t he net work.
Not e: The SCU allows set t ing up a m axim um of 19 profiles in t he Aut o Profile list .
