SCAN ENGINE SETTINGS

The CipherLab developed ut ilit y Re a de r Configur a t ion configures t he following reader
t ypes:
1D Laser ( SE955)
2D I m ager ( SE4500DL)
The reader int egrat ed on t he m obile com put er is eit her a 1D or 2D scan engine. When t he
physical scan key or side t rigger is pressed, t he m obile com put er will read a print ed barcode
in posit ion. See Read Print ed Barcodes
Not e: ( 1) 1D and 2D scan engines don't coexist on t he m obile com put er because t hey are
bot h barcode readers and t he m obile com put er allows one barcode reader only.
( 2) Run only one reader- cont rolling ut ilit y or applicat ion at a t im e. For exam ple,
while running Reader Configurat ion ( ReaderConfigMobile.exe) , avoid running MI RROR
Browser, Term inal Em ulat ion, or any other applicat ion t hat uses ReaderDLL.
