My Windows Mobile- Based Device opens.
5) Double- click Pr ogr a m File s.
Program Files folder opens. This is where t he downloaded applicat ions are norm ally
inst alled on t he m obile com put er's local st orage.
I n t he folder, each sub- folder st ores an applicat ion.
6) Open t he folder of t he applicat ion t o creat e short cut for.
7) Find t he execut able file of t hat applicat ion. Right - click on it and select Copy from t he
cont ext m enu t hat com es up.
The execut able file is copied.
8) Browse t o M y W indow s M obile - Ba se d D e vice \ W indow s\ St a r t M e n u \ Pr ogr a m s.
Program s folder opens.
9) Right - click any vacant spot in t he folder and select Pa st e sh or t cu t from t he cont ext
m enu t hat com es up.
A short cut t o t he applicat ion is added t o St art screen.

Act iveSync feat ures " Explore" t o add t o St art screen a short cut t o som e local file so it is
accessible m ore easily.
To add a file short cut t o St art screen:
