DISABLE/ENABLE RADIO
The radio is on by default . Toggle t he Disable/ Enable but t on t o swit ch t he radio off/ on.
Radio is enabled ( but not yet associat ed) .
Tap D isa ble Ra dio t o disable it .
When t he radio is enabled, t he syst em will at t em pt t o connect or m aint ain it s connect ion
wit h an access point . When t he radio is disabled, Wi- Fi power is off.
ACTIVE PROFILE
A profile is a set of param et ers t hat define t he m anner in which a device associat es t o a
wireless LAN ( WLAN) infrast ruct ure. A profile cont ains inform at ion including t he Syst em Set
I dent ifier ( SSI D, t he " nam e" of t he WLAN infrast ruct ure) , m eans of dat a encrypt ion,
aut hent icat ion t ype, and securit y credent ials.
