1) Loosen t he handst rap and pull it downwards so t he m et al hook is posit ioned at t he lower
edge of t he Velcro band
2) Unhook t he hand st rap by pressing t he square m et al ring light ly in t he m iddle and lift ing
it upwards in a single m ot ion.
3) Not e: The lower end of t he handst rap can be left as is wit hout det aching. Aft er t he m ain
bat t ery is inst alled, t he handst rap can be hooked back int o place.
4) On t he out er sides of t he bat t ery door are t wo door lat ches. Pull t hem out wards t o
unlock bat t ery door.
5) Lift up t he lower end of t he bat t ery door t o rem ove it .
6) Posit ion t he m ain bat t ery pack int o t he bat t ery cham ber wit h t he cont act pins facing
down. Fix t he bot t om edge first .
7) Press t he upper end of t he m ain bat t ery inwards unt il t he clip at t he t op " clicks" int o
place.
8) Replace t he bat t ery door. Fix t he upper edge first and t hen press t he lower edge in. Push
t he door lat ches back t o t heir original posit ion.
9) Secure t he handst rap hook back int o it s groove.
Not e: ( 1) When m ain bat t ery level drops t o low level, charge it ASAP or replace it wit h a
charged one.
( 2) Always press t he power key and select Sw a p Ba t t e r y in t he power m enu before
replacing t he m ain bat t ery pack.
( 3) The bat t ery door m ust be secured in place for t he m obile com put er t o operat e.
( 4) Any im proper handling m ay reduce bat t ery life.
