6.4 Settings Menu
Pressing the icon accesses the settings menu
(attached image A16).
From this menu you can select the working mode,
adjust the clock and change the machine settings.
6.4.1 Setting the clock
The time and date can be adjusted by pressing directly
on the displayed values.
The new values will be requested in sequence
(Attached image A17).
Only users with administrative rights are permitted to
change the time and date.
6.4.2 Setup page

Press the button to access the setup page.
Press icon (1) to access the diagnostic functions.
By entering the code 55555 you can see the machine
software version.
Press icon (2) to select the desired language.
Press icon (3) to select the unit of measurement for
thickness (mm or in).
Press icon (4) to select the unit of measurement for
force (daN or lbf ).
When changing a unit of measurement, the previously
saved data will be automatically converted.
The remaining setup menu options are presented in
the following chapters.
6.4.2.1 User management

Press the button to access the user management
page.
The user management page displays a list of all saved
profiles (attached image A19).
Each user is assigned a name and an access PIN
(password) to identify themselves on the machine.
The user name is stored along with the data for the
welding performed to identify the person who has
performed a particular weld.

The assigned rights for each user are displayed using
the following symbols:
User with administrator rights.
They can perform the following tasks:
creating and changing users,
copying, renaming and deleting welding
programs,
setting and editing protected programs.
The user can select the SMART + working
mode
The user can select the FULL working mode
The user can select the QUICK working
mode
The user can use the USB flash drive

To add a new profile, proceed as follows:
