1.21 The panelling is stuck on in four steps:
1.21.1 First, one of the longitudinal edges is stuck on, but only to front bulkhead R-29. It is important here
that the panelling extends over the edge of the bottom of the cover by exactly three millimetres.
1.21.2 Then, the panelling is stuck on half of bulkheads R-29 and R-30. We recommend using high-
viscosity superglue here.
1.21.3 Following this, half of the bulkhead is glued on, up to bulkhead R-28. This can be pulled tight with
adhesive tape.
1.21.4 Now the panelling is pulled over bulkhead R-29, then on R-30.
1.21.5 It is then glued on up to bulkhead R-28, and the panelling is bent around the edge of the frame. For
optimal results, tighten and fix in place with adhesive tape.
1.21.6 When the lid is finished, the cockpits can be opened. Then it is ground flat on the underside and can
be pressed into the fuselage cut-out. The bulkheads must be slightly sanded at the front and the rear
so that the lid can be removed easily.
1.21.7 Now stick in the round magnets R-35 to secure the lid. To do so, place the two magnets together,
separated by a piece of cling film. Then attach the magnets to the magnet holder and the lid at the
same time. Leave this to dry thoroughly, and then remove the lid.
1.21.8 Stick the plug-in dowel R-36 into the front bulkhead of the fuselage lid and sand it so that it is slightly
round.
1.21.9 Now you can insert the fuselage lid and sand it again along with the entire fuselage.

2.1
The fin is built directly on the fuselage. The terminal bulkhead has already been glued into the fuse-
lage.
2.2
The lower rib S-01 is inserted directly into the terminal bulkhead R-16 and bulkhead R-17. Ribs S-02
and S-03 are inserted directly into the terminal bulkhead and aligned at right-angles. These can be
fixed in place with adhesive tape.
2.3
The panelling S-04 is comprised of two parts.
2.4
The panelling is glued onto the left and the right at the same time so that the fin does not twist. When
adjusting it, make sure that the cut-outs for the tailplane bearing are perfectly aligned with the cut-outs
in R-17. The edges of the panelling are perfectly aligned with the terminal bulkhead, the upper side of
rib S-03 and the lower edge of rib S-01.
2.5
Once it has hardened, the front edge of the fin that is still open is ground flush and the leading edge S-
05 is stuck on.
2.6
Finally, the entire unit is sanded so that it is smooth and the leading edge is rounded.
2.7
Next up is the rudder: The main spar S-06 is stuck together with doubler S-07. In doing so, make sure
that white glue is applied sparingly so that the carved hinge slots are not closed off.
2.8
The trailing edge parts S-08 are completely stuck together and taper-ground to the rear to a thickness
of 3 mm.
