Die VAG EKN
H1200 Absperrklappe ist eine Ab-
sperrklappe in Vollflanschbauweise und ist somit
zwischen zwei Flanschen als auch als Endarmatur
ohne Gegenflansch bei vollem Betriebsdruck ein-
setzbar.
®
Die VAG EKN
H1200 Absperrklappe ist nach Ihrer
Bauart eine Exzenterklappe mit doppelt exzentrisch
gelagerter Klappenscheibe. Die Klappenscheibe
steht in Schließstellung senkrecht zur Strömungs-
richtung. Zum Schließen oder Öffnen ist eine Dreh-
bewegung von 90° erforderlich.
Die Abdichtung im Abschluss erfolgt mit einem end-
losen Profildichtring, der in der Standardausführung
mit einem Haltering oder mit Haltesegmenten be-
festigt ist. In der Schließstellung presst sich der
elastische Profildichtring an die kegelförmige Sitz-
fläche im Gehäuse und dichtet in beiden Durch-
flussrichtungen sicher ab. Durch die doppelt exzent-
rische Lagerung der Klappenscheibe ist der Profil-
dichtring in Offenstellung vollkommen entspannt.
Bei Bedarf kann der Profildichtring bei eingebauter
Armatur ausgebaut werden.
Die epoxidbeschichtete VAG EKN
klappe ist eine stahlgeschweißte Armatur, der
Dichtsitz ist aus hochlegierten korrosionsbeständi-
gen Werkstoff gefertigt.
3.2
Einsatzbereiche

Die VAG EKN
H1200 Absperrklappe ist in der
Standardausführung mit EPDM-Dichtungen ausge-
stattet.
®
Die VAG EKN
H1200 Absperrklappe sollte nur in
Medien eingesetzt werden, in denen keine Verstop-
fungsgefahr besteht.
Die Absperrklappe ist für folgende Medien einsetz-
bar:
→ Wasser
→ Roh- und Kühlwasser (mit angepasstem
Korrosionsschutz)
→ schwache Säuren und Laugen (mit ange-
passtem Korrosionsschutz)
3 Product features
3.1
The VAG EKN
flanged butterfly valve and can therefore be used
both between two flanges and as an end- of-line
valve without counter-flange and at full operating
pressure.
The design of the VAG EKN
is that of an eccentric valve with a double offset
bearing of the disk. In closed position, the disk is
perpendicular to the direction of flow. To close or
open the valve, the disk must be turned by 90°.
The body is sealed with an endless profile seal ring
which in the standard version is fixed by a retaining
ring or by retaining segments. In closed position,
the elastic profile sealing ring is pressed to the con-
ical seat surface inside the body and safely seals in
both flow directions. Due to the double offset bear-
ing of the disk, the profile seal ring is completely
unstressed when the valve is in open position. If
required, the profile seal ring can be disassembled
without having to dismantle the valve.

Valves is a steel welded valve, the sealing seat is
made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel.
3.2
In its standard version, the VAG EKN
