Bei Antriebsaufbauten ist eine sichere Lagerung
der Antriebe und somit eine Vermeidung von Quer-
belastungen auf die Verbindungsstellen vorzuse-
hen.
Bei der Auswahl und dem Gebrauch von An-
schlagmitteln müssen das Gewicht und die An-
schlagart beachtet werden. Das Gewicht der VAG
®
EKN
H1200 Absperrklappe steht in den techni-
schen Unterlagen oder auf der Verpackung. Der
Gebrauch der Anschlagmittel sollte den gängigen
Vorschriften entsprechen.

VAG EKN
H1200 Absperrklappen großer Nenn-
weite haben keinen mittigen Schwerpunkt und kön-
nen bei unsachgemäßem Anschlagen beim Anhe-
ben zur Seite ausschlagen.
Die Last nie ruckartig anheben oder absenken, da
die auftretenden Kräfte sowohl die Armatur wie
auch die Hebezeuge beschädigen können.
Für Transport aber auch zur Montageunterstützung
dürfen Hebeeinrichtungen wie Seile und Gurte
grundsätzlich nur am Armaturengehäuse, den La-
geraugen oder den dafür vorgesehenen Hebevor-
richtungen befestigt werden. Der hydraulische Fall-
gewichtsantrieb ist dafür nicht geeignet. Die Länge
und die Positionierung der Seile / Gurte muss so
gewählt werden, dass eine horizontale Position der
Armatur zu jeder Zeit des Hebevorgangs garantiert
ist.
Die allgemeinen Vorschriften zum Gebrauch von
Hebezeugen sind zu beachten.

VAG EKN
H1200 Absperrklappen ab Nennweite
DN 900 sind mit Aufhängebohrungen außerhalb
des Flanschblattes oder mit Bohrungen in den Um-
fangsrippen versehen. Diese können gemäß Bild /
Picture 3 zum Anheben der VAG EKN
sperrklappe verwendet werden.
If the valve is equipped with actuation assemblies,
make sure the actuators are safely stored to pre-
vent transverse loads from affecting the connec-
tions.
When selecting and using stop devices, take the
weight and the stop type into account. You will find
the weight of the VAG EKN
in the technical documents or on the packing. The
way the stop devices are used should comply with
the relevant regulations.
VAG EKN
diameters do not have their centre of gravity in the
middle and therefore may swing sideways when
lifted if the stop device is improperly fixed.
Avoid jerks and jolts when lifting or lowering the
load, as the forces generated in the process may
damage both the valve and the lifting devices.
For transport purposes and also to support assem-
bly, lifting de- vices such as cables and belts must
only be attached to the valve body, bearing lugs or
the lifting devices provided for that purpose. The
hydraulic actuator is unsuitable for this purpose.
The length and positioning of the cables/belts must
ensure that the valve is in a horizontal position dur-
ing the entire lifting procedure.
The general regulations relating to the use of lifting
devices must be complied with.

900 and larger are pro- vided with suspension bores
located above the flange. As shown in Bild / Picture
3, they can be used to lift the VAG EKN
