This command, followed by the phone number to be dialed, directs the modem to go
off-hook and dial the number. Commands other than dial modifiers must not be
placed after the D command. Any command that is placed after the D is either
ignored or interpreted as a dial command modifier.

Selects the numbers to be tone dialed.
Selects the numbers to be pulse dialed (if permitted by country code.

Selects a stored phone number to be recalled and dialed. The modem's default

when the AT command DS is issued is to dial the phone number stored in cell 0. ( n =
0 to 9)
Switches modem operation to handshake in the answer mode when this command

Pauses dialing for a programmable length of time determined by S-Register 8.
