Selecting a Unit (Shelf Inventory Screen)
From this point, procedures are the same for both types of connection. The Shelf Inventory screen
below is for a typical two-shelf installation. The two columns for Slots 17 through 32 do not appear
when there is only one shelf. Note that the Shelf Inventory will display the word "alarm" in
parentheses next to the name of any unit that currently has an active alarm condition.

At the Shelf Inventory screen, type the slot number of the unit you intend to work with, then
press Enter. If the selected unit is a Dual V.34 modem, the unit displays the Line Selection
screen, shown below. i

4. In the Line Selection screen, Line 1 designates the Dual V.34 unit's "Modem A" and Line 2
designates "Modem B". Type the selection you want to work with and press Enter. The
Main Menu for the selected modem appears, as shown in
