Parts and repair
This product does not include spare parts and can not be repaired by the user. All inspections and overall
maintenance should be done by a specialist.
Cleaning and maintenance
Clean the exterior of this device monthly with a dry, or slightly damp microfibre cloth. Ensure that the device
is unplugged before cleaning it.
Check if all the screws are intact and secured and tighten or replace them where needed. Check all metal
parts of the device for any signs of corrosion. If corrosion is found, the device needs to be checked
thoroughly.
Power output
The IntenZ CB700 is provided with power input via a blue, lockable power connector and provides power
output via a grey connector. This makes it possible to link multiple devices with one single power supply, wall
socket or power block.
The IntenZ CB700's fuse only protects the device itself. The power supply input and output are linked
together.
Because of 230V group can handle a maximum of 10A and the IntenZ CB700 consumes power itself, the
output can take a maximum load of 10A from linked devices. This also includes a calculated safety margin.
DMX terminator
In DMX mode, it's standard practice to place a terminator at the end of a DMX circuit. A DMX terminator is an
electrical termination consisting of a 120 Ohm resistor, that's placed between the second and third pin to
eliminate possible data reflections. Data reflections can cause strange behaviour in DMX-controlled devices.
DMX-terminators are sold separately but you may yourself decide to solder a 120 Ohm resistor between the
second and third pin of a standard male XLR connector.
