Troubleshooting
WARNING!
Improper use, faulty electrical installation or excessive mains voltage may result in
an electric shock or short-circuiting.
Never try to repair a defective or suspected defective appliance yourself. You can
put your own and future users' lives in danger. Only authorised specialists are al-
lowed to carry out this repair work.
Do not continue to cook if you fi nd cracks in the glass ceramic. Water that runs
through cracks in the hob may become charged and cause an electric shock! In
such cases, immediately separate the hob from the electrical supply (switch off the
circuit breakers/unscrew fuses) and contact our Service department (see "Service
department" on page GB-28).

Possible solutions / tips
The power supply has been interrupted. Check the fuse(s) for the
oven in the fuse box. In case of doubt, contact our Service depart-
ment ((see "Service department" on page GB-28).
The safety locking mechanism is activated.
Deactivate the safety locking mechanism by touching the sensor (10)
for approx. 3 seconds.
There is a film of water over the sensors. Clean and dry the sensor
field.
You are not pressing the sensors sufficiently. Always touch the sen-
sors with your entire fingertip, not just the very end of the finger.
These noises arise due to the design of the induction cookware and
do not indicate a defect.

The hob is equipped with a fan, which switches on automati-
cally when one of the cooking zones/areas is activated and con-
tinues to run for some time after the hob has been switched off.
Do not shut off power to the hob while the fan is running.
