The Euro-TX ECR has got one internal segment display for the customer. It is possible to connect two external displays
to the ECR, either alphanumerical or segment LCD. As used, one of those is the cashier's display. The second one needn't to
be used, but can be used as the secondary customer display.
Segment display
The customer display consists of ten character in LCD segments and is commonly backlit. The display is constructed as an
independent PCB that contains the display itself, the back-light unit, and the display controller. Individual segment groups
are activated usign the COM and COM signals. The display controller is the NJUB switchable controller with seg-
ments. The controller is capable of controlling up to segments.
