. Cleaning the thermal head
. Use the blue lever to lift up the thermal head into upper position so it will be separated from the cylinder.
. Dip a cotton swab in alcohol (ethanol) and clean the head using the swab.
. When the alcohol evaporates completely, place the head into printing position using the blue lever.
Warning:
. Never clean the printing head immediately after printing as it may be still hot.
. Do not use sandpaper, scissors, or any other sharp objects to clean the printing head to avoid damage to the printer
head.
. Paper tape cutter
The paper tape cutter is an optional accessory to the printer. This device requires no special maintenance.
