15. Safety precautions
The following explanations are for things that must be observed in order to prevent
harm to people and damage to property.
■ Misuses that could result in harm or damage are shown as follows, classified
according to the degree of potential harm or damage.

Safety precaution in transportation and opening package.
(1) Do not carry the motor by holding the cable or the shaft.
(2) Do not drop or topple products.
(3) Confirm top and bottom of product before opening package.
(4) Please follow instructions of cargo handling label.
Safety precaution in installation
(5) Do not install in environments below.
・Vibration or shock exceeds product specifications.
・Foreign matter such as dust, metal powder, oil mist etc. exists.
・Liquids such as water, oil and grinding fluid may adhere.
・Near combustibles, corrosive gas or flammable gas atmosphere.
(6) Do not put your hands in the brushless amplifier.
(7) Do not install near heating element.
(8) Install in an environment with pollution degree 2 or pollution degree 1.
(9) Install on incombustible materials such as metal.
(10) Confirm the direction of rotation before installing in the machine.
(11) Install an external emergency stop device to shut down the main power source in any emer-
gency.
(12) When used in a clean room or the like, take measures against smoke and dust.
