GERBER EDGE Owner's Guide
The chassis consists of the following parts:
The keypad and display. The keypad and display are used to enter operator
responses and to display instructions for the operator. For use of the keypad
and display, refer to the "Using the keypad and display" on page 35.
Power switch, power cord receptacle, and parallel printer connector.
The power switch and power cord receptacle are located on the right side.
The power cord is inserted in the power cord receptacle. The printer
connector is located on the back and is used to connect the
computer.
The power supply. The power supply is a universal, auto-ranging power
supply capable of operating from 60 to 132 volts, or 180 to 264 volts, on 50
to 60 Hz.
The cover interlock sensor. The cover interlock sensor prevents
operation if the cover is not completely closed. It is located on the top front
of the chassis.
The printhead down/head home sensor. The printhead down/head home
sensor reads when the printhead is contacting the platen. If this sensor is not
activated, the
will not operate.
