5.2.1.5 Selecting Output Ranges
It is not possible to adjust an analog
output range to a value greater than
the real range of the analyzer.

Fixed range:
If you choose fixed range and either or both of the analog outputs are used to
output the mg/L, the analyzer will have a fixed 4–20 mA mg/L span.
1. To make a range selection, press UP while in the Range change %
screen. The display changes to:

2. Press ENTER. Asterisks will flash on either side of Auto range.
3. To accept Auto range as your selection, press ENTER again.
4. To select Fixed Ranges 1 through 4, press the UP button. Each time you
press the button, the next highest range is displayed.
5. The asterisks continue to flash on either side of the available ranges.
To select a displayed range, press ENTER. The selection will be placed
in memory.
Allowing the analog output scaling to change effectively allows
intermediate ranges to be presented to a DCS or monitoring system.
Selecting output ranges refers only to the mapped analog outputs when they
are mapped to TOC.
1. After you have selected a fixed range, press the UP button. The Output
ranges screen is displayed.

2. Press ENTER. The Output range value screen is displayed.

3. Press the UP and DOWN buttons to scroll through the four ranges.
To change a range value, press ENTER.
4. Asterisks will flash on both sides of the displayed value. Use the UP and
DOWN buttons to change the value. When finished, press ENTER. The
new value is placed in memory.
5. Press CTRL then ENTER to exit the Output range screen.
