INFORMATION
The rounded shapes at the end of the joint connections are necessary for
reasons of stability; the bar connections must be adapted accordingly.
For reasons of stability, the side bars must be glued to the connection plugs
with 636W28 Ottobock Special Adhesive. To do so, degrease the surfaces to
be glued with 634A1 Ottobock Thinner and Solvent, thoroughly mix the con-
tents of the two tubes of special adhesive and hardener and apply the mixture
into the connection plugs. Insert the side bar and fix with 501T7=7.5x9xM5
Oval Head Screws.
The adhesive takes 3 to 4 hours to set. Final bonding strength will be reached
after 16 hours.
2.3 Servicing
We recommend inspecting the orthosis for proper function and wear at indi-
vidually determined intervals but at least every 6 months.
