ASSEMBLING THE APPLIANCE

IMPORTANT: If the safety locking arm is not in the correct position, the motor will
not start moving.

1. Place the motor base on a stable, level sur-
face near an appropriate wall power outlet.
Leave a distance of at least 20 cm to the edge
of the table or counter and to any other object.
Ensure that the motor base is NOT con-
nected to the power supply.
2. Place the filter surround on the motor base.
The juice spout must fit through the hole on the
front of the motor base.
WARNING:
blades on the filter basket to avoid injury.
Only touch the filter basket at the rim. Ensure
that the filter basket engages on the drive cou-
pling and will not wobble.
Before assembling, ensure that
IMPORTANT:
the filter basket is clean. For this, hold the filter
basket up to the light. Any dried-on food on
the filter basket will block the fine mesh holes.
If necessary, clean the filter basket (see: 'Care
and Cleaning').
3. By aligning the arrows on the filter basket
with the arrows on the drive coupling, place
the filter basket into the filter surround and
push down the filter basket until it clicks into
place. Ensure that the filter basket securely
engaged on the motor base.
4. Place the juicer cover over the filter sur-
round, positioning the feed chute over the cen-
tre of the filter basket (picture C). The pulp
outlet must face away from the safety locking
arm. Press the juice cover down into position
without violence.
5. Raise the safety locking arm up and fix it in
the two grooves on either side of the juicer
cover. The safety locking arm should now be
in a vertical position and locked into place on
top of the juicer cover.
