Carbon     m onoxide  
This   p roduct   e mits   e xhaust   g ases   w hich   c on-
tain     c arbon     m onoxide,     a     c olorless,     o dorless
gas     w hich     m ay     c ause     b rain     d amage     o r     d eath
when     i nhaled.     S ymptoms     i nclude     n ausea,
dizziness,   a nd     d rowsiness.   K eep   c ockpit   a nd
cabin     a reas     w ell     v entilated.     A void     b locking
 
exhaust     o utlets.
 
Modifications  
Do     n ot     a ttempt     t o     m odify     t his     o utboard     m o-
tor.     M odifications     t o     y our     o utboard     m otor
may     r educe     s afety     a nd     r eliability,     a nd     r ender
the     o utboard     u nsafe     o r     i llegal     t o     u se.
 
Boating     s afety

Have     a n     a pproved     p ersonal     f lotation     d evice
(PFD)     o n     b oard     f or     e very     o ccupant.     O utboards
recommends     t hat     y ou     m ust     w ear     a     P FD
