Operating the Balance

Key Functions

e
On/off. Turns the display on/off. The balance remains in the
standby mode.
Clear function. Used to interrupt/cancel functions; e.g., delete

data from memory, cancel calibration/adjustment functions, etc.
Tare. Zeros the display.

Print. The displayed data is output to the printer.

Toggle. Toggles the readout between weight and calculated
value when using the counting, weighing in percent or calculation
programs; otherwise, toggles between two weight units.
Function. Starts an application program

SETUP. For accessing the SETUP program menu, storing menu

codes, exiting the menu.

Calibration/adjustment.
-../ Numeric input (e.g., ID number).
Decimal point for numeric input.

Password Levels

There are 3 different levels of password-protected access:
1. The user can assign a password to protect memory data

2. 40414243 is the "dealer password;" this can be given to the user if the
user password is lost
S-ID
3. 202122 is to be used only by service technicians; when this password is
entered, the data entered using the INPUT mode can be changed and the
q key functions are expanded.

Setting the Language

– When 0.00 g is displayed (depending on balance model), you can select
the language by entering the corresponding number (use the numeric keys).

1 German
2 English (factory setting)
3 English with US date/time format
4 French

5 Italian
– Press ö to save the setting.
French:
Press 4 and then press ö to store.
