Drive Slot Numbering

You can install any suitable disk drive into any slot in the enclosure. The diagrams below shows how drive slots
are numbered on the Vess R3600 Series and Vess J3600 models. Slot numbering is reflected in the WebPAM
PROe and CLI user interfaces.
Be sure to install all of the drive carriers into the Vess R3600 and Vess J3600 enclosure to ensure proper
airflow, even if you do not populate all the carriers with physical drives.
