Setting the White Balance
[ Q ] Auto White Balance
With [ Q ] (Ambience priority), you can slightly increase the intensity of the
image's warm color cast when shooting a tungsten-light scene. If you select
[ Q w] (White priority), you can reduce the intensity of the image's warm
color cast.
If you want to match the Auto white balance of previous EOS DIGITAL
camera models, select [ Q ] (Ambience priority).
Cautions for Setting [ Q w] (White priority)
The warm color cast of subjects may fade.

When multiple light sources are included in the scene, the warm color cast of
o
the picture may not be reduced.
When using flash, the color tone will be the same as with [ Q ] (Ambience
o
priority).

Select [z: White balance].

With [ Q ] selected, press the < B >
z
button.
