U-BOLT HARDWARE KIT

The U-bolts are used with power chairs or scooters
that do not have a center seat post. On this type of
chair, the seat is normally attached to a tubular frame.
Install the U-bolts, two on each side, to the frame as
shown. See Figure 5-3.

Outlander Vehicle Lifts:
CHAIR PREPARATION
Ensure that the loop extends to the outside of the
chair so the user can attach the strap hooks.
Each chair is slightly different, so the U-bolt
placement will differ among models and
manufacturers. Place the U-bolts toward the center
of the seat if possible. If your seat type requires you
to install the U-bolts more toward the front or rear of
the seat, aim to install them as close as possible to the
center of the seat.
