Address Mapping

Network Address Translation (NAT) allows IP addresses used in a Local Area Network (LAN)
to be mapped to one or more Public IP Addresses used in the public, global Internet. NAT
feature eliminates the number of Public IP addresses required from the ISP and also maintains
the privacy and security of the Local Area Network. PLANET XRT C series router allows one
or more Public IP Address(es) to be mapped to a pool of local Private IP Address(es).

WAN ports
Note
You may assign WAN ports that each virtual IP range can use to
access the Internet. The Public/legal IP addresses of WAN ports
that exist in the Internet that will be transformed to one or more
private/Virtual IP address (LAN PC clients) e.g. 192.168.0.x.
This means that the private IP addess(es) selected will use the
public IP addresses of designated WAN ports when accessing the
Internet
You need to give your LAN PC clients a
fixed/static IP address for Address Mapping
to work properly.
