The General Setup menu contains advanced features that allow you to configure XRT to meet
your network applications or environment needs such as: Multi-homing, Address Mapping,
Virtual Server, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Special Applications, DMZ and other
functions.
Below is the description of the advanced functions available in PLANET XRT C series
broadband router.

Note
Please choose the desired item and start configuration to make XRT optimized to your network
applications or environment.
This section allows you to setup XRT's system Time Zone,
Password and Remote Management related parameters.
WAN section allows you to select the connection method in
order to establish connections with your ISPs (same as the
Quick Setup Wizard section)
You may configure the Address Mapping, Virtual Server and Special
Applications functions in this section. This allows you to specify what
user/packet can pass your XRT.
Firewall section allows you to configure Access Control,
Intrusion Detection and DMZ related functionalities.
DDNS section allows you to configure Dynamic DNS related
parameters to bring convenience while other Internet users
sharing your LAN resources.
If your LAN has a PPTP gateway, then enter that PPTP gateway
IP address here. If you do not have a PPTP gateway then enter
the ISP's Gateway IP address above.
UPnP section allows you to turn on/off UPnP function.
QoS section allows you to configure QoS bandwidth control to
prioritize the bandwidth for your network.
1. Multiple WAN connections only supported
in XRT-402C and XRT-204C.
2. UPnP support only available in XRT-401C.

QoS function only supported in XRT-402C
and XRT-204C.
