XRT C series User Manual
ADSL or Cable modem
1. Choose an Installation Site
Ensure your router and the Cable/DSL modem are powered OFF before commencing. Leave
your Cable/DSL modem connected to its wall socket (phone line or cable input).
2. Connect LAN Cables
Use standard LAN cables to connect PCs to the switch ports on your Router.
3. Connect WAN Cable
Connect your Cable/DSL Modem to the WAN port on your Router. Use the cable supplied
with your Cable/DSL modem. If no cable was supplied with your modem, use a standard
network cable. Please make sure the connection is established (LED is on).
4. Power Up
Power on the Cable or DSL modem. Connect the supplied power adapter to router and
power up. Use only the power adapter provided. Using a different one may cause hardware
damage
5. Check the LEDs
The PWR LED should be ON.
For each LAN (PC) connection, the LAN LNK/ACT LED should be ON. (if your network
is 100Mbps speed, the 100 LED will be on, too.)
The WAN LNK/ACT LED should be ON.
