Before continuing, make sure you have loaded the tools listed on
A workspace is a local Unix directory structure containing your configured copy of dw_ipk_dwipk_pcie.
You can create several workspaces to experiment with different design alternatives.
To create a workspace, follow the next steps:
1.
Navigate to the <installation_folder>/ipk/dw_ipk_dwipk_pcie/<version> folder, enter the
following command:
% cd <installation_folder>/ipk/dw_ipk_dwipk_pcie/<version>
2.
Start the coreConsultant GUI:
% coreConsultant . &
3.
Open a new workspace, press and hold the Ctrl+N keys.
4.
On the "Create a coreConsultant Configuration" window, enter a name for the Workspace. Click OK
to create a workspace.
5.
Complete the Specify Configuration activity using the default parameter values. Click Apply in the
Specify Configuration dialog.
This creates the RTL for the default configuration and populates the product documentation (in
<workspace>/doc).
