CHANGING ENGINE OIL FILTER
(1) Engine Oil Filter
1. Remove the engine oil filter using a
suitable filter wrench.
2. Apply a light coat of clean oil on the O-
ring of the new filter. Install and hand
tighten.
3. Add engine oil as needed to bring the
oil level to the correct level.
4. Start the engine and run for 5 minutes
and check for leaks.
5. Verify that the oil pressure warning
light has gone off.
6. Stop the engine, wait 5 minutes and
recheck the oil level.

(1) Pre-Filter
(2) Fuel Filter
1. Clean the outside surface of the fuel
filter well.
2. Loosening the drain plug on the bot-
tom of the fuel filter to drain fuel and
any accumulated moisture.
3. Loosen the screw on top of the fuel
filter and remove the filter body.
4. Remove the element and install a new
one. Reassemble the filter unit in re-
verse order.
CAUTION
When changing the fuel filter, be
careful to avoid contamination.
Dust, dirt and other foreign ma-
terials will damage the fuel
system.
REMOVING MOISTURE WITHIN FUEL FILTER

Water and particles are trapped by the
fuel filter to protect the engine and fuel
system. Periodically drain contaminants
from the filter and pre-filter housings by
loosening the drain plugs.
CAUTION
Water contamination will cause in-
jection pump damage, and may
cause the engine to malfunction.
