Setting "MONI C-R," "MONI M-G," "MONI Y-B"
This item is used to adjust the color tones in the video
signal output from this instrument to the monitor. It does
not affect the color tones in the printed picture.
According to the change of the setting value, the color
tone in the video signal output is changed as shown in
the Table 5.3.

Press "v" or "V" to move the cursor on "MONI C-
R," "MONI M-G" or "MONI Y-B."
Characters of the setting item are displayed in green
when the cursor is positioned on the item.

Press "b" or "B" to select between "–14" and "14."
The selected setting value is displayed in green on
the monitor.

Adjust remaining items by repeating steps 1 and 2.

Check the image on the monitor whether color tone
is desired.

5.10 Setup of the COLOR
BALANCE Menu
This menu is used to adjust the color balance in the
printed picture. After installing a new ink ribbon and
print sheets on this instrument, it is recommended to
perform this setup in order to correct alteration of color
tones due to the combination of the ink ribbon and print
sheets.
"C-BALANCE" can be set in the "BASIC SETUP"
menu and in the "PRINTER SETUP" menu. Changing
the setup of this item in either menu affects the setups of
both items.
To display the COLOR BALANCE menu

Press "v" or "V" to move the cursor on "C-
BALANCE" in the PRINTER SETUP menu or in
the BASIC SRTUP menu.
Characters "C-BALANCE" are displayed in green
when the cursor is positioned on this item.

SETUP menu" on page 42, or to display the
PRINTER SETUP menu, see "To display the
PRINTER SETUP menu" on page 47.

Press "B" to display the COLOR BALANCE
menu, which can be identified with characters
"COLOR BALANCE" on the top left of the screen
(see Figure 5.10).
The highlighted area in the display shows the
current range that will be printed out for the color
balance adjustment.
