Chapter 5 System Setup

5.1 Items That can be Set on Menus

The system setups of this instrument can be modified as
desired by the user or according to the operations
applied from the factory default. This instrument may
malfunction if the system setups are made incorrectly.
Moreover, about the item unable to set up, a setting
value is displayed by "—" and it cannot be selected.
If press "b" and "B" simultaneously during a setup, the
setting value will become the factory default value.
Table 5.1 shows the available system setup items.

Details
Same as the INPUT SEL in the INPUT SETUP menu.
Same as the LOAD COLOR in the COLOR ADJUST menu.
Same as the DARK in the COLOR ADJUST menu.

Same as the LOAD USER button on the front panel, or the LOAD USER in the PRINTER SETUP
menu.
Go to the COLOR BALANCE menu.
"RGB" "YPbPr"
Set the input HDTV signal format.
"G-ON" "EXT"
Set the input HDTV signal sync format.
"4 : 3" "5 : 4"
Set the input HDTV signal aspect ratio.
"HD" "SD"
Set the output video signal format when the
HDTV signal is input.
"1" to "15"
Set the edge enhancement level of the printed
picture when the HDTV signal is input.
Same as the HD SHARPNES. in the COLOR
ADJUST menu.
"SOFT" "NORMAL"
Adjust the black or white area in the image

when the HDTV signal is input.
Same as the HD GAMMA in the PRINTER
SETUP menu.
"ON" "OFF"
Set the operation for changing the input video
