1. Adjust the following hardware until sensor (A) is aligned
with the top inside edge (B) of a long hole, and there is a
2–3 mm (1/16–1/8 in.) gap (C) between the pulley and
sensor (A). Make sure the sensor is parallel with the pulley.
2. Loosen hardware (D) securing sensor angle (E) to sensor
channel (G), and move sensor (A) outboard.
3. Loosen hardware (F) securing sensor channel (G) to the
header, and then move sensor (A) upwards.
4. Check the clearance between speed sender (A) and the
drive pulley. If necessary, adjust the sensor nuts to ensure
that there is a 2–3 mm (1/16–1/8 in.) gap (F) between the
speed sender and the pulley. Ensure the speed sender is
parallel with the pulley.
5. Tighten nuts (D) and (F) to 58 Nm (43 lbf·ft).
6. If necessary, adjust the wiring harness to ensure that it is
not too tight and that it clears the driveshield when the
driveshield is closed.
7. Close left driveshield (A). For instructions, refer to the
header operator's manual or technical manual.
