REPLACEMENT OF 7-INCH LCD TOUCH ASSEMBLy
1. Remove the rear console case.
2. remove the overlay/bezel assembly.
3. remove the four Phillips screws that secure the 7" LCD Touch Screen
Assembly to the PCB mounting bracket.
4. Disconnect the LCD / touchscreen's cables as required.
5. Transfer (re-use) two screws and two spacers from the old
LCD to the left side of the new LCD.
6. Secure the C-shaped bracket (0K70-01087-0 or -1)
to the PCB Mounting Bracket Assembly using
two M3 x 6mm screws (0017-00101-1971).
7. If the LCD mounts to standoffs on the
PCB Mounting Bracket Assembly
that are flush, then use
0K70-01087-0.
8. If the LCD mounts to standoffs on
the PCB Mounting Bracket Assembly
that have measurable height (>1mm),
then use 0K70-01087-1.
9. route cables through appropriate holes in
PCB Mounting Bracket, then connect cables to SBC.
10. remove inverter/cable and discard.
11. Secure the right side of the LCD assembly
to the C-shaped bracket with two new M3 x 6 screws
(0017-00101-1971). Secure the left side of the
LCD assembly to the PCB Mounting bracket assembly
with the re-used screws/spacers.
12. Reassemble plastics in reverse order.
REPLACEMENT OF 15-INCH TOUCH ASSEMBLy
1. Remove the rear console case.
2. remove the overlay/bezel assembly.
3. remove and save the two Phillips screws (shown
in the illustration) that secure the 15" Touch Screen
Assembly to the PCB mounting bracket assembly.
4. Disconnect any cables as required.
5. Separate the 15" Touch Screen Assembly from the
PCB Mounting Bracket Assembly.
6. Install the new 15" Touch Screen Assembly in reverse
order using the hardware removed and saved in the
previous steps.
